Please read these Terms of Service ("Agreement", "Terms") carefully before using forDiabetes mobile application, web application "https://go.fordiabetes.app" and website "https://fordiabetes.app" (collectively, the "forDiabetes Platform" or "Service"), provided by Tessera Multimedia S.A. ("Tessera", "we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Use of the Service

The Service is designed to help users track and manage health and wellness data, including but not limited to blood glucose, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, body measurements, meals, activities, medications and lab tests.

The Service may also include tools such as calculators, reminders, reports, data synchronization, integrations with third-party apps/devices, and optional sharing of data with caregivers or healthcare professionals.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Medical disclaimer

forDiabetes is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The information, calculations, trends and summaries provided by the Service are for informational and self-management purposes only. They must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions or changes to your treatment.

Registration and accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features of the Service may be offered through paid subscriptions.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your payment provider
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Access to paid features will continue until the end of the billing period
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers and are subject to their terms
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable

Emergency SOS

The Emergency SOS feature allows you to prepare a message, optionally including your location, using your device’s messaging application.

The Service does not send messages automatically. You must review and send the message manually from your messaging application.

Tessera does not charge for this feature. Standard charges from your mobile provider may apply depending on your plan and the recipient.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • access or attempt to access another user's account without permission
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

We may introduce new features, including free or paid versions, or modify existing features.

Proprietary rights

The Service and all related content, software and materials are owned by Tessera and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service without our permission.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tessera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of data or health-related decisions made based on the use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the Application.

Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
